  • Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address via Google Sign-In. This is used solely for authentication and to uniquely identify your user profile across devices.

    • Your list of blocked applications and keywords.
    • Your trading goals (e.g., daily loss limits, max trades, win streaks).
    • Your strict mode and panic mode settings.
    • Note: This data is stored securely in our Firebase Firestore database.

B. Usage Data Collected Automatically

  • Device and Usage Information: Like many mobile apps, we may collect standard information about your device (e.g., device model, OS version) to ensure compatibility and stability.
  • Emergency Unlock Count: The app maintains a local count of how many times you use the emergency unlock feature each day. This counter resets daily and is used strictly to enforce the daily limit of unlocks.

C. Information Collected via Permissions (Accessibility Services)

This app uses the AccessibilityService API to provide its core functionality. We use this permission strictly to:

  1. Detect the package name of the active foreground app to determine if it is in your blocklist.
  2. Detect specific trading-related keywords in the URL bar of supported browsers to enforce your custom blocking rules.
  3. Display a blocking overlay (“Trading Frozen”) over restricted content.

Data Privacy Declaration regarding Accessibility Services:

  • No Data Persisted: We DO NOT store, record, or transmit any screen content, personal messages, passwords, or financial information read by the Accessibility Service to any server. All keyword processing happens locally on your device in real-time.
  • No Setting Changes: This service is not used to change your device settings without your permission or to prevent you from disabling the app or service.
  • No Privacy Evasion: This service is not used to bypass Android’s built-in privacy controls or notifications.

D. Information Collected for Advertising

  • Google AdMob: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements, which helps us support the app’s development. AdMob may collect and use your device’s advertising ID and other usage data to serve personalized ads.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide Core App Functionality: To enforce the blocking rules, time-locks, and trading limits you have explicitly set.
  • Authenticate and Manage Your Account: To log you in securely and maintain your session.
  • Synchronize Your Settings: To back up your blocklists and trading goals to your Firebase account, allowing you to restore them if you switch devices.
  • Monetize the App: To display advertisements via Google AdMob.
  • Provide Customer Support: When you contact us via email, we use your address and the information you provide to resolve your query.

We take the security of your data seriously. We use administrative and technical measures, including Firebase’s built-in security rules and authentication protocols, to protect your personal information. We will retain your account information and configuration data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, this data will be permanently removed from our active databases.

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. We provide two methods for this ensuring you control your data:

  1. In-App Deletion: Navigate to Settings > Delete Account within the FomoBlocker Lite app. This will immediately wipe your account and configuration data from our database.
  2. Web Request (No App Required): If you have uninstalled the app or cannot access it, you may request account deletion by visiting our deletion request form here: https://makeviolet.com/account-deletion/ We process these web requests within 30 days of submission.

7. Children’s Privacy

This App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
